E.E.S. (erythromycin ethylsuccinate) is not used to treat glaucoma. Glaucoma is a chronic eye condition caused by increased intraocular pressure that damages the optic nerve. Effective treatment typically involves prescription eye drops, laser therapy, or surgery—none of which include antibiotics like E.E.S.
E.E.S. is an oral antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections and has no role in lowering eye pressure or protecting the optic nerve.
