Patients must inform their doctor if they are pregnant or breastfeeding as Multaq is harmful to the unborn or nursing baby. It is advised that women take an effective form of contraceptive to avoid getting pregnant while on Multaq. Patients should also disclose their medical history and all medications being taken as Multaq could cause serious medical problems when taken with certain drugs.
